well, at least there is a usb-connector and it's directly at the gamepad, not at the battery pack.

I do :) Where is your problem? Not enough pocket money? I also buy cases for my mobiles and anti-scratch-solutions. Hell, I even smoke which costs me more in a month than some want to invest in their console, I think...

And even if it only comes with batteries, so what? Go ahead, spent $10 and you have a generation full of supply.

You are sending the message that is right to charge a consumer $450 for a console and not include a rechargeable battery pack which the competition has already adopted.
