Strange: looked for a replacement-battery for ds3 and only found 3rd-party-ones,

Yea they are like 4 bucks or something and only third party but don't change the subject this is about the Xone not including rechargeabe batteries.

Go to 3:45 he says "it comes with 2 AA DISPOSABLE batteries."

I don't change subject, I am just curious how Sony's solution is. Why so serious? But thanks for the info anyway. A battery-pack will cost only about a few bucks, so who cares anyway.

Keep paying bro, just keep paying.

I do :) Where is your problem? Not enough pocket money? I also buy cases for my mobiles and anti-scratch-solutions. Hell, I even smoke which costs me more in a month than some want to invest in their console, I think...

You are sending the message that is right to charge a consumer $450 for a console and not include a rechargeable battery pack which the competition has already adopted.

I say I don't mind, not that it's right. But nice how you know the price already ;) Somehow many people seem to possess palantirs...

I think 450$ is a good estimate for a place holder price but anyway let's not change the subject. You say you don't mind and you know is not right but you still pay. It sends the wrong message, even Sony knew they fucked up with no rumble on the original PS3 controller and a lot of people will not buy a Vita for their high memory  card prices (among other reasons of course).

Ok rafux, I am tired now. Don't tell me what to do and especially don't tell me what I know and what I try to pretend to know because you don't know, this is arrogant and unwanted, yet unpolite. Good night.

whats the big deal even i my beeper use AA batteries. Oh wait! what its 2013.. and what is this god for sake Lithium batteries.. quick kill it, kill it with fire

It seems a little weird, but it's really not a big deal to just use rechargeable batteries. They work for a lot of different stuff and they're pretty cheap now.

So you'll still need to purchase the rechargeable kit. lol damn... even Nintendo moved to built-in batteries.

the one ring to rule them all

the one box to fool them all

This is a parody thread, right?

http://www.theverge.com/microsoft/2013/5/21/4353378/hands-on-xbox-one-controller around 00:23, does it look like AA batteries to you??

I must be the only person on the planet who prefers controllers with AAs. Rechargables aren't that expensive and I hate having to jack in my controller or end my play session for such a silly reason
