Strange: looked for a replacement-battery for ds3 and only found 3rd-party-ones,

Yea they are like 4 bucks or something and only third party but don't change the subject this is about the Xone not including rechargeabe batteries.

Go to 3:45 he says "it comes with 2 AA DISPOSABLE batteries."

Screw lithium ion batteries. They're not convenient in any way. All those smartphones and tablets that use the tech are behind the times.

DS3 batteries don't die, they are lithium ion batteries. They don't need to be replaceable. They are rechargable.

I have yet to reach a recharge limit with any of my controllers and am unlikely to ever reach it.

Can confirm. Batteries are still as god as on their first day^^

I dont mind, batteries are batteries, as long as its fair. Like the new controller should come with rechargeable batteries and not make consumers buy them separately . As well I've seen the packaged 360 controllers with the play and charge kit are more expensive than a PS3 controller; which I fail to see why it is but they made it so.

I don't change subject, I am just curious how Sony's solution is. Why so serious? But thanks for the info anyway. A battery-pack will cost only about a few bucks, so who cares anyway.

I'm pretty sure they will have a rechargeable controller as this does not make any sense

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(
