Forums - Microsoft - MS will win Next Gen

because of cablebox functionality I see it selling better than the 360, but still the PS4 will be first, because of focusing on games. I think this how they will sell by the end of the cycle.

PS4: 160M
XOne: 100M
WiiU: 60M

PS4: 160M
XOne: 20M
WiiU: 40M

PS4 will win now in my opinion. I did earlier say that the Xbox would win but now I cant see it.

Sony also has all its first developers working on all new PS4 titles (I think there was around 12?) they have made a large stretch to bring aboard more 3rd party studios and new indie dev's, they have aimed the PS4 at being "gaming machine" catering to all developers/gamers and at E3 they can show there console and talk about a ton of new games which most of them will be core games. My opinion is that Sony really has more fire power going into E3 this year and they have the upper hand. But hey that's just my opinion.

Thinking about the reveal more and I dont think US and UK are a lock anymore. Reaction has been negative to the reveal by most as far as i can tell. The even started out awesome though

MS is going for a whole new market...who says they interested in a console?

The hardcore 360 gamers have been quite positive about PS4....if Sony gives them a good enough reason to switch they will.

The majority of the ~80 million people who bought 360 are not the market MS was targeting today. MS are trying to go beyond that audience to a larger audience. But its risky and in the pursuit of all those other markets they might just lose their core.

Next gen battle still needs to be fought. We need to see how the companies implement their strategies. Saying US and UK are a lock is stupid at this point. You basically basing that off of cool looking voice features, gestures and tv integration....thats not enough.

LOL, wow.

What is so surprising?  the PS3 can reach 100M by the end it stops selling so, considering M$ and Sony are doing the "right moves", I think they will sell better than this gen.  But I think the PS4 will win.

No one here can reasonably predict how well they'll sell until they've launched and we've observed the market's reception.

You have no basis for thinking PS4 will sell 160M other than you being hyped for PS4 and being a big fan of Sony.

I think it's time for "MS fans are getting overconfident" thread.

Well I can't tell to be honest since I wasn't intrested in the xbox reveal and didn't watch it, will check the significant info soon and then will elaborate on my point of view.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

1st PS4
2nd WiiU
3rd XBOX One

No way....Sorry That xbox reveal was disappointing. I'll wait for e3 to make such calls.
