Dead serious btw. The only question mark is whether or not their programming, and TV features will go beyond just the US. If they can do that, the Xbox One will have next gen on lock, I guarantee it. Oh and please no comments like "fanboy talk" or whatnot, I'll be buying a PS4 as well, I'm a gamer, I don't limit myself to just one option. This is just my honest opinion, that in terms of market potential, the Xbox One will be MUCH bigger than the PS4, and Wii U. |
No. They won't. Their exclusives are overplaid. Few actual gamers (OR "casuals") want a system that has to be online constantly, nor do they want to pay fees for locked out used software, nor do they want something with ZERO backwards compatability (okay PS4 also has that but still). The system just sounds more unappealing by the minute. The only people who are going to pour out and buy it, are hardcore Xbox fans. That's it. Whatever headway 360 made in the "expanded market" department is going to be gone.
I'm calling it right now, the winner of the coming gen will be either Nintendo or Sony, and it will be close. The more I hear about the "One", the more I am convinced it will come in last place. And quite frankly, I hope I'm right. MS desevers a nice slap in the face for coming up with such an insanely dumb piece of hardware.
