As someone who has been partial to trolling on gaming forums and when gaming i think the negative perception of trolls is overblown.
Has anyone ever seriously been effected by the action's of a troll.
Please no trolling on this forum.

well, they don't hurt anyone but they are annoying and can be a serious problem if you want to have some discussions. that's why it would be good to have an ignore button. if you can't read the posts of them anymore and if they can't quote you anymore, some threads wouldn't be a mess after few sites.

The question is when we can joke and when we treat with a grain of salt, and when it should be the joke of someone / something. In this forum, people like to make predictions that often do not work and then it's an excuse to insult / joke. The problem is that most people here are fans of the various consoles / products that compete with each other and 'success' of one platform is often nothing more than, win "on the other. This can not be eliminated, no matter how you look at it.
