hahahha, the PS3 version doesn't have a map and there is whole people missing!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The PS3 version have a map... you can turn it on/off... even the PS2 version have a map... yeah the screen below is the PS2 version.

Wii U version seems to have an ∞% better minimap than the PS3 version.

Edit: Damn, I'm way too late. Quick, what other trivial detail is missing?

Speaking of SEGA, do you know what would make me buy a WIIU? VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 4.

No thanks, after Bayonneta 2 I dont want to see another NINTENDO IS STEALING MAH GAMES thread

If Wii U is capable of tessellation with good framerate, why not just tessellate low poly models to make them smooth?

No any artistic input needed, this is automatic process.

It's not a question of *if* the Wii U is capable of Tessellation, because it is. - All AMD GPU's have been capable of Tessellation since the Radeon 8500 days via it's Truform technology. (Aka. Geforce 4 era, around the time of the PS2!) - ATI/AMD were also a big pusher of the technology, it even found a home inside the Xbox 360.
Of course it eventually found it's way inside the Direct X 11 standard, but that was incompatible with AMD's previous implementations on all cards prior to the Radeon 5000 series, for several reasons.

If what is rumoured is true, that the Wii U does have a Radeon 6450/6570 class GPU inside, then it's simply going to have woefull Tessellation performance which-ever way you cut the cake. - For example in the Xbox 360 it was used sparingly like water effects in Halo 3 or in Viva Pinata so the same will probably hold true for the Wii U.

Then again, the Wii U is also suffering the same problem as the venerable PC, aka. - Crap PS3/Xbox 360 ports from lazy developers/publishers, it won't be untill later in the consoles life where you will see if there is any benefits to the Wii U's Tessellator.

Ugh I knew someone would do this in time. Just didn't expect it to be Pezus. Maybe VGking or Somini or something.

Obviously the PS3 version would look better, WiiU version was likely just ported from PS3 with no extra work done on it. Some of the code won't match well. (Like Okami port from PS2 was better than the Wii's graphically due to difference in architecture)

This is one of those "test" games. Minimal effort, low-risk port that's just exists to grasp a market. Make an easy paltry sum. No need in spending $$ optimizing.

Do you honestly think SEGA's going to put their full efforts onto this? They just slapped on some Gamepad fetures, made sure the game ran and called it a day.

NOOOOOO! But Sega is Nintendos 3rd party saviour :-O

OT: why woulkd anyone even buy this? I mean there are superior, 7th gen sequels to play, and a WiiU exclusive Yakuza would have made far more sense IMO.

Well, we saw Pikmin 3 and it is looking ugly without even a hint of tessellation (enviroment looking very low poly).

Also, Sonic & Mario Olympics - char models looks ok and smooth, but i doubt this is tessellation at work, just good modeling (Blue Dragon on Xbox 360 have similar quality models), but i'm certain were is no tessellation for trails on the snow (most obvious to do, isn't it?).

The PS3 version looks a little sharper. Attaching any kind of significance to this is ridiculous on any number of levels.
