Slime, you are trying way too hard.

lol trying what?

You could probably enlighten us with the history of yearly MS exclusives in the past. If I recall correctly you posted a list of around a dozen excslusives for X360 last year or something because you included Kinect games and Live Arcade games.

Why am I bringing that up? Because a figure of "15 exclusives in first year" sounds more impressive than it probably is.

So again this "Kinect games do not count" argument. Isn't it getting old?

Okay you are right. MS will have no first party game to show except Forza 5! Lionhead, Black Tusk, 343, Rare, MS Redmond are all not doing anything.

Ask yourself why MS chose to show a live-action trailer from Remedy if their first party development isn't behind schedule.

The 5 studios you listed certainly are developing something, but who says they will be shown at E3, who says they will have anything for the launch window?

Remedy isn't even 1st party. -.-

That was one crappy Kotaku rumor you are building on. I think Pachter did a pretty good job regarding that rumor.

So It will block used games?

Not entirely. You need to pay a fee to play them

But this...http://kotaku.com/the-xbox-is-not-always-online-but-seems-to-block-used-509077987

dude, literally in the first line of that article: "but could very well block used games, unless you feel like paying Microsoft some extra cash."

I won't say anything negative as don't feel that is right. I will say Microsoft's vision and mine are far far apart. I felt meh after Sony's show and this felt even more deflating. I have the lowest expectations possible for E3 right now and really hope something, anything gets me excited about the next generation of gaming.

What the fuck is that shit? Are you serious? I really hope PS4 doesn't pull this kind of shit since they said they won't block games.

Case in point! Exactly that - Redemy isn't even 1st party, but they felt they had to show something.

Hve u got a link to patchers rebuttal of the Kotaku 6 months behind schdeule rumor?

Around the Network

Didn't get to watch it but I checked some things that I obviously missed and this is my take so far.

Pros -

I like the multimedia stuff as I live in the US.

I actually like the look of the console. Looks big, but will look nice in my entertainment center.

Nice to see MS focusing on new IPs. I hope to see them at E3.

Actually like the look of the new controller, especially the analog sticks!

Cons -

Do not like the idea of games being tied to your account with no way to deactivate them. Kills resale value, something I rely on to purchase new games. You know, we aren't all wealthy and have unlimited funds.

Would have liked to see more games other than the expected titles.

Too much focus on TV.

So, now I have to wait for E3 to see where my money goes. Currently I am leaning a bit more towards PS4 because of JRPG support, unless that changes, although I probably won't know that until TGS. So either way I won't be purchasing any new console this year. 2014 or later for me.

Still want to get home so I can see the OS in action.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Any love for MS stealing Sonys exclusive: Bluray? :P

Anyone.......?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The next Xbox (I don't like saying Xbox One) will do everything that I want it to do.

- Seemless multitasking where you can go from any app to TV to games with a few words and they all pause until you get back to them. This is just an incredible feature

You do realise that "fast task switching" actually means the task has to be in the ram (together with what the guy said about "multiple OSes") ? Load a few applications and see your available ram melt away...

Shouldn't have to do that...
