You guys looking at this all wrong.

Take your obsessed gaming hat off and actually look at when he said. All legitimate stuff in my opinion. It's twitter, he can say what he likes and he'd know more than any of you lot.

Honestly, the Nintendo defense force are starting to rival SDF.

He clearly knows his he will have had first hand experience with the Wii0U. How about talking about what he said from a technical angle?

The problem is that his assessment contradicts Criterion's and NFS: Most Wanted is technically superior to the PS3 and 360 versions. So it brings his competence into question. That or he simply has an agenda. Either way he looks like and is a fool. Even if he's technical assessment was true, it isn't BTW, he just went on a public forum risking his job with inflammatory comments.

The funny thing is your comment just proves mine more correct.

1. A developer who has just released a game says that game is best on the console it was released in a press release fashion...

2. A developer says in his own free time what he thinks under no duress with no benefit to himself or incentive what he thinks of a console in plain direct speak...

You're saying that number 1. has more credibility and thus number 2. has his competence questioned and he has a agenda...What agenda? Seriously your comment makes no sense at all.

Only thing it shows is that he doesn't have much regard for getting a job with Nintendo in the future and isn't afraid to voice his true opinion. Neither or which are bad. He has the credentials to say whatever he likes and get it noted.

No my comment makes perfect sense because Criterion's claims were independently verifried by Digital Foundry. Criterion, a fellow developer under the EA umbrella, says the opposite of what he saying. An independent website verifies their assessment by comparing NFS: MW on Wii U to the game on other platforms. So he's either incompetent or lying.

I'm a nintendo fan obviously but I agree about the power part. You can't give 3rd parties like EA that ammo or excuse...just remove that barrier, and provide a bigger canvas for creative freedom. Nintendo comes up with a brilliant, ultimate "hardcore" gamepad controller, but its disregarded b/c of the hardware distraction, basically at ps360 level. NEVER sacrifice power for your icing, that's why its icing (innovation), the special feature to separate from competition. But then when you cut back on power, you've now lost that competitive edge.

Wow, thanks for taking some of you time, come to this thread and enlighten us. In the name of the Nintendo Defence force, I apologise for any inconvenient and false statement.

Oh, and regarding the bolded part, he clearly can't and shouldn't have, or he wouldn't have deleted the tweets, and all the information in his twitter profile linking him to EA.

lol it seems i was right about the wiiu all along, i told you guys the console would bomb in december but i was flamed, i told you guys that it was on par with current in terms of hardware, now its been confirmed by neogaf and beyond3d that the wiiu is indeed only a 160 shader in its gpu but way more effeciante, and third party support is about to become none existent by next year, this consoel will never sell over 20 million.

I love it how this goes: the both got laid off (on EA part, that is "could"), for the same reason, but in different ways:

This guy for Cons feature
Orth for Pro features

Bloody priceless

And for the people who keep saying Wiiu is like the HD twins, have you really forgotten about Most Wanted U? If so, there's no reason with you... -_-'

3rd parties don't sell well on Nintendo systems... except for all those music, fitness and party games that made 3rd parties like EA a nice chunk of change over the past gen, right?

Because Sonic, Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Goldeneye, and Epic Mickey are music/fitness/party games...

I was talking about EA regarding the quote from the OP.  Guy says 3rd party games don't sell on Nintendo systems, yet as I pointed out they made a decent amount of dough riding the motion control and plastic peripheral craze.  Of course their other games were all watered down versions of their sports titles and crap like Dead Space Extraction, so it's not really a mystery why their other games didnt sell too well.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Lets start an online petition to get this guy fired. I mean people at microsoft get fired for saying "whats the problem with being always online? my phone is"

So this should be reason enough to fire the guy twice!

You won't need a petition mate. I guarantee you that he's already gone. Not only that but he'll probably not be able to work in the industry again. He's basically flushed his career down the loo.
