The "3DS is blowing up in North America!" is a fictional fantasy that's being pushed by 2 or 3 posters on this board and has zero basis in actual sales data.

It's true! Big time Sonic fan here. Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are two of my favorite games of all time. I grew up a Genesis kid, and along with the games I was enamored with the toys, television shows, and everything else Sonic related (still am... I'm rocking a Sonic the Hedgehog shirt as we speak ). I even started the Sonic Support Squad when I first arrived here on VGChartz (if you remember any of those other "character fan groups" on here, I started it with the Squad).
Sonic was my first gaming love, and Knuckles is the best video game character ever!

What exactly are you even predicting? That 3DS sales will monstrously explode in May for no reason?
I think we all know all hardware (Vita included) will see a uniform rise from April to May, but that's really no big deal.
That doesn't quantify as "momenteum".
The 3DS hasn't put up impressive numbers from Jan-April despite a strong lineup of releases this year in North America. Even it's holiday numbers last year were kinda soft (down year over year yet again).

You can get the stand alone boxed version for $30. There is new multiplayer character named nabbit. The levels are shorter or just faster with 99 second timer. This is more like an expansion pack and similiar to Rockstar DLC's.
So, is this only 28 minutes? Wanted to watch live, but I was busy this morning. Will go through thread and post late reactions.
