Forums - Sales Discussion - April 2013 NPD Thread!

I think it's time for Microsoft to give the 8 year old console an official price-drop.

So much for the Wii U stabilizing

Dang, Pachter was off on 360 by 75K. VGC slightly better, 68K off. VGC is probably only ~20K-30K off for the PS3. Gap is almost gone, now.

any hard number on PS3 sales??

We know 2 things about its sales

1.- Is less than 130k

2.- PS3+Wii+WiiU=189k

179k actually.

Technically I was correct but edited anyway, thanks

HELLO FRIENDS.

Yeowch. This is going to be a painful NPD.

So no more numbers. Unlikely we'll get any now for a while.

I'll sift through the carnage in the morning I think. Frink out.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

As soon as I saw Injustice at the top of the SW chart I knew something bad was going down lol. I suppose I haven't noticed just how barren the release list was this month because I'm too busy playing older games.

180K if you round up.

wow! why are the 360 numbers much lower than last month?

Anyone want to lay odds on Wii outselling Wii U in the US this year?

I'm fairly sure Wii will perk back up to 200k - 250k in Nov / Dec, so it should be around 1m this year (it's already 100k ahead of Wii through March). Not entirely convinced that Wii U will get to 1m. I mean, if they price cut in October, it does maybe 50,000 a month for 9 months, 100,000 in Oct, 200,000 in November, and then 350,000 in Dec?

Mario Kart is probably the only really big game coming to Wii U this year - I could see it being pretty close.
