I honestly think the 7th Gen Software library was the worse outside of a small batch of games. But to each their own.

I say the 6th gen beats the 7th gen easily, and same goes for the 8th gen which also beats the 7th gen easily already.


Hate to say it, but Kid Icarus isnt a new IP. Its just an old IP Nintendo resurfaced from the 80's. I think Wii Fit, Wii Sports and Pikmin are like Nintendos newest IP's in a while.


Well Nintendo has come up with up to 10 new IPs for 3DS and coming up with up to 5 new IPs for Wii U:

I'll try to name some:

3DS:

Spirit Camera the Cursed Memior

Dillon's Rolling Western (the sequel out to)

Sakura Samurai Art if the Sword

Pushmo (sequel already out)

Ketzal's Corridor

Kersploosh!

Steel Diver

 

Wii U:

Bayonetta 2 & up

Yarn Yoshi

Nintendo Land

 

There are a bunch more 1st Party IPs that are new in the 8th gen.

I think Dillon might be most influential 8th Gen character maybe.


Plus you counted the new version of Batman as new, so you have to do the same for the new version of Pit from Kid Icarus Uprising.

But don't worry because it's 8th Gen, and you are talking about 7th Gen instead.

You could say Nathan Drake as it affected the way Tomb Raider plays but i don't think new characters haven't influenced too much overall

From the list, I liked John Marston the best.....solid character. Influential? I don't think I would call any that influential.....maybe Shepard or Drake.

Fem shep is commander shepard. Femshep is just an alternate name gamers created to separate the sex, its not real. If you were in the marines and was to address the female version of shepard you would state her name the same exact way you in which you would the male.

real world: 1. the assassin's creed guy 2. shepard 3. drake and marcus

not sure if they even have "influence", that's just how i could see the popularity.

Commander shepard has no gender in the game....yeah....If you vote for fem shep its still commander shepard.
