Seems the ships reached finally America. That also leads again to the situation, that the Wii outsells the XBOX360 and the PS3 combined. Back on track to 50% market-share.

yea!!! finally the sony fanboys can be quieted after saying that the Wii "fad" was apparently over when it was really due to supply constraints

I made a thread for this specific purpose... I think the gap will only grow as we get further into the year.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
Same goes for ps3 and 360, but why mention them?
Anyhow, the wii will dominate I even have one.

Hey leo, welcome back.
I don't see you point though. He was relating to the misconception that Wii was a fad and dying. Yet this week shows that it was obviously lack of supply. How does that in anyway relate to the PS3/360's sales which are at their normal pre-xmas levels?
This is great news, now we will have the consumer very happy, companies need to think about the consumer which is something they always forget, maybe they can meet demand soon.
2008 end of year predictions:
PS3: 22M
360: 25M
wii: 40M

u don't have one
I do have to wonder when Wii sales will eventually taper off. My guess is late 2009 they'll start dropping. But who knows?
