Ahoy!
So I've missed far too much. I may or may not have been lurking in here. On the assumption that I have:
- I TOLD YOU GUYS ABOUT MARIO KART 8! Can we please let this be on the end of "it's just been listed for pre-order on amazon.jp and has sat at #1 for a few days, therefore it must show up in COMG soon". That's not how it works, as evidenced by its absence. It'll show up down the line, no need to worry, but when it's just gone up it isn't going to rocket up COMG except in exceptional circumstances (i.e. something like Monster Hunter).
- I was kinda close with my guesses of what would show up next. A SKU of something already on the charts (samurai warriors showed up); Soul Sacrifice showed up; J-Stars showed up (3 SKU's worth!). Sadly Senran Kagura did not, I was a bit too optimistic on that one.
- Aww, no surge in Ar no surge sales (I've been sitting on that one for a while!). I am disappointed it's not doing better though. Certainly not up to COMG-Atelier standards and I thought they'd be selling to similar audiences.
- Watching Miku F 2 on Vita go toe-to-toe with the original game in pre-orders is pretty interesting. Though I'm sure the original game will actually win because it was bundled, it's an interesting one to watch.
- I saw everyone's favourite PlayStation goddess surface just briefly a few days ago. Looking forward to having her back again soon!
- And speaking of which, Neptunia 2 needs 16 more pre-orders to match the previous game.
- And I am disappointed that people are finding this period boring. At least there's lots of green.
Will update my COMG vs. Japan sales thread shortly. For those comparing Soul Sacrifice, the first game got 1 COMG: 2799 actual, best ratio for any Vita game. But that had 3 SKU's (normal; dual pack; bundle) which boosted it a lot. I think Delta will do well to go 1:1. And I don't think it'll have an explosive first week because of the PSN upgrade you can get for cheaper.
