Casuals gamers don't take gaming seriously like hardcore gamers a wii is enougth for them and don't have a reason to upgrade unless is something really innovative.

I could argue the exact opposite, iPhones sell like hotcakes even though the upgrades are usually very minimal.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Not to the casual gamer. Only techies like us distinguish 1 peice of electronic entertainment from the other. This is why PS2 did so well, despite only being a PS1 with better graphics.
