Well, well, well. SMP decided to show up after all. Anyone got comparisons?

I stop checking this thread for a couple of weeks and Smash is getting its ass handed to it by Smash 4. It needs 14 points a day to beat the Smash 4 total, 10.5 points a day to beat the Smash 3DS total. Not impossible if it gains serious momentum like what Smash 3DS has at this point, but I'm losing faith. If it maintains the kind of momentum it had last week, it'll barely break 500. If it immediately surges to what it was the week preorders opened, it'll break 900 and give Splatoon a run for its money, but that's if it immediately gets that momentum and maintains it. Momentum choked after Nintendo Online showed its ugly face, and now it's slowly rebuilding that (and no, it's not bundles, or the 0 point days would have come right after they were announced, not a few days later when the horror of how bad the online service would be spread across the internet). It needs almost 100 points a week at this point to surpass Smash 4 totals. Smash 4 didn't get 100 points a week until the last 4 weeks. I don't see it happening.
