Vita Tv release next week on 10th.. and GE2 arround a week later... I think it will push the slim and fat models more... but will keep the "momentum"? for the first week sales of PSVTV' Vita last two week have hold above 24k after the slim release... with the Tv model and the release of more software in next weeks.. should be able to keep arroun 30-40 later...

Been a while since I visited this thread. GE2 doing quite well for itself. Vita is the non-MonHun monster hunting handheld.

It could've happened, it just didn't. Not to bash P&DZ, but I like it this way. But, one cannot simply ignore the importance of that title in Japan, I mean, it can even end up with more points before the release, and it  could sell more than both versions of GE2, if it manage to achive the predictions of the developer.

I know, PDZ will be very successful.  GungHo has a hit property on their hands.  As a former Ragnarok player, I like that they're doing well.  My point was was about the points of comparison, though, not the games themselves.  Comparing numbers at the start of pre-orders to the middle of another game's longer pre-order period just isn't practical.  

I know what you meant, and I share your position regarding certain comments. But, I was pointing out, that PDZ could've surpassed GE2, it wasn't wishful thinking, or fanboyism. It was clear, at least for most of us, that after certain point it wasn't going to make it. But, the possibility was there. Don't know if I'm making myself clear, it's late, and I need to get some sleep.

Interesting Famitsu scores. Looks like Namco/Sony did slip them some money to score the Vita version higher. Now why didn't they slip them even more money to get the full 40/40!?

Handheld versions of Pro Evo though, eek. Seems like the 3DS version is just a port of the PSP version and they're both a bit rubbish.

Nothing he's said has really been incorrect though.  I'm sure Mario will end up selling well on actual numbers - it's Mario; there's a certain amount of brand loyalty that even the Wii-U's poor sales can't destroy.

But on COMG, it's definitely flopping at the moment.  Not every single game can be a winner on here!
