I wonder if the NieR demo will do anything for preorders.

It might aswell be a new Ip though with the new direction it's taking.  So I don't agree it's terrible. 

But I agree with you about MHXX.  expecting it to do MHX numbers is unfair. 

Saying its essentially a new IP may be going a bit far, but i agree with the new direction that expecting RE6 level isnt realistc but still, doing less than 1/4 of the predeccessor in the same time frame isnt good.

I think RE5 was huge because it came after the phenominal RE4 and RE6 was huge because RE5 was a lot of fun. Though RE6 kind of ruined that by not being Action and not being horror just stupid.

Hoped that valkyria would do better

The drop won't be that bad.  It will be partially offset by the combination of digital sales,  better ratio and Asian sales. 

Good day again for Resident Evil 7 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting with 3 new games.

Resident Evil is picking up speed. I was expecting the game to completely bomb in Japan, but it might end up selling a decent amount

Well on Amazon it moved from #67 to #24 on the top selling charts since the demo released.

Even with digital & a better ratio, it will still be far behind RE6 and I fail to see how other countries are relevant to a discussion about Japan sales.
