If is possible the answer is definitively yes.
Question is if will reach it. I say it will. I think it will have less point than XY (which did 2136), but also a waaaaaay better ratio. So first week it will be better than XY, by not a small margin imo.

I think this seems very possible. Pokemon Sun/Moon seems like a true beast and with the help of Pokemon Go chances are very high.

I think that Persona 5 will end with less points than Persona 4, but a better ratio and very good digital sales should put Persona 5 easy over Persona 4 first week, hope by a good margin.
Btw if Persona 5 ends with more points, i'll be positively impressed.
