I see Pokemon GO has had its impact.  :P

The sales would at least not drop by potentially 25% FW while also costing *some %-tage* more to make. 

Also you pick some very odd examples. Musou has never had trouble selling on a number of platforms, but Arena Hunters (or Hunters in general) have struggled historically to sell anywhere but handhelds. Even on the PS2 and Wii, the genre struggled to make a huge splash anywhere. I don't think it was wise, further, to also change the game so much from an arena game to an open world game, the move was rather obviously made for the west but the west (as I said before) doesn't give a rats ass about this series.

Also, looking at how every 3DS game got a decent amount of points, I'm pretty sure that was the PoGo effect.

Today Pokémon moon and Sun passed the first day of pre orders for XY and ORAS.

Pokémon Sun/Moon (117 days left) = 334pt

Pokémon XY (63 days left) = 309pt

Pokémon ORAS (62 days left) = 300pt
