Yeah and GTA 5 will cross 1.5m for sure.  GTA 6 will be a million sell on ps4. Good times ahead. 

GTA V didn't broke the million mark on PS3... There was a chance, but PS4 version crushed the PS3 legs.

Honestly, i think that after this insane success, R* will do the same thing with GTA VI:

Releasing at the end of PS4/XBO life, with a PS5 and XBT version too (maybe this time as a launch title)... So nope, i think GTA VI will sell one million in Japan but not on PS4 alone, PS4+PS5 like GTA V PS3+PS4, imo.

I wonder how long they will stretch this gen considering they are doing mid-gen console upgrades. Hopefully not longer than the last one :o

But that's without digital for ps3 Yeah?  

Edit: but good point on gta 6. They'll probably do red dead redemption next and then in 2018 we'll get gta 6 and gta online 2 years before the PS5 releases.  Then they'll remaster it for that gen and release it on PC a little later.  Absolutely maximise sales and get people double and triple dipping.  

 

Personally I want a gta vice city 2 game October 2017 and then gta 6 to release in 2019 for the last year or two of the gen. 1 gta per gen is not good enough.  It's too good a series.

What's this positive approach are you talking about? Im just saying to this user that seeing a game do 600k+ FW in Japan is not usual. It doesn't mean that games that do get 600k+ FW will always be called a success.

 

Edit: and what is wrong with saying that it dropped so hard? Isn't that the fact?
