It's doing badly?  The game is doing poorly as a whole, but I don't think that's particularly down to the Vita version.  It's showing a very similar trajectory to One Piece Pirate Warriors (using VGC numbers because I'm lazy)

OPPW: 664,313 / 858,386

OPPW 2: 333,017 / 539,789 (PS3 version sold 274,241 / 416,256 while Vita version sold 58,776 / 123,533)

DQH: 578,659 / 836,766 (PS4 version sold 265,237 / 347,912 while PS3 version sold 322,442 / 488,864)

DQH 2: ???

It looks on track to take a similar share of a declining sequel, just like One Piece did.  And that still got a third game and another Vita version, so yeah.  It's not blowing the charts up but I think it's doing fine; it's the other versions that are doing poorly.

191 pts for DQ is pretty awesome. Nice to see it moving near its release.

DQ pushes yokai off the throne and takes it all for himself!!!! I honestly thought yokai had it once it sent FF packing for a long holiday but here we are xD

Either way, I'm glad whenever I see any sort of growth for home console franchises in Japan. Dark Souls, western games in general, Persona, Splatoon (growth/new franchise eh, same thing, makes me happy!) These are the small bright spots in an uncertain market.
