They do Okay. Last year top selling "shooting game" GTA V at almost 1m. CoD did 150k+. BF3 in the past did 300k+ I think.

 

My guess is 150k+ now that PS4 has an install base to back it up.

Outside of the million for GTA V (and even those to a more limited degree), these numbers would be seen as massive failures if applied to the western markets. While I agree they are doing okay, the numbers just can't be compared to western sales figures.

I keep forgetting Utawarerumono is a thing. Let's hope the PS3 and PS4 versions are waiting in the wings or it's going to be a bit of a disappointment...

(Maybe they can make some money back by licencing it to Atlus for overseas!)
