Does anyone have a guess as to why MGS V sold so much better on PS4 when compared to Dragon Quest Heroes, which sold significantly better on the PS3?

Is it because MGS appeals to a more hardcore demographic than Dragon Quest in Japan, and that demographic is much more likely to purchase a PS4? Or is it because there are significantly more PS4s in Japan in the six months since DQ:H was released?
