Splatoon must have a 3.4 point avarange for break 100 point. It was at 4 point today, and considering the weekend boost...

Trust me, MK8 and SSB are long gone. Over 150 points at this point for both of them. No way Splatoon even comes close, tbh.

Splatoon is a monster. This is probably going to be the third biggest launch ever for the Wii U in Japan, just behind MK8 and SSB4.

Splatoon has 9 days left before it comes out, let's say it gets 2 points per day for those 9 days, that's 18 points.
It has 69 points now, 69 + 18 would put it at 87 pts on it's last day, making it 13 points shy of 100, and if the points to sales ratio is as accurate as it's been, it would only need around 13,000 day 1 sales to crack 100,000+ sales on it's first week in Japan.
So far it seems that it is perfectly capable of pulling it off. That's assuming it does average 2 points a day for these last days, let's see what tomorrow holds. But for now, it has had an amazing run these last 3 days.

So, Splatoon 100k pretty much confirmed now?

What was the last day's points and first week sales ? And what about NSMBU ?

Well, I don't think anyone was expecting it to be as big as MK8 or Smash Wii U, considering it's a new IP with a lot to prove.
But it doesn't need to be as big, it just needs to sell good enough numbers and have enough positve reception to the point where it becomes a recurring, profitable franchise, and if it can do that, then I'd consider it a great success!
