Luigi and Mario are internal codenames for RV710 and RV730... no Wikipedia only.
And I see no issue with that... it is know way before the Wii U launch in the tech forums.
And not... these codenames have nothing to do with Wii U's GPU.

Source? I can't find any mentions on the internet before late 2012. The 4xxx series was released in 2008.


Wii U's GPU isn't any of these; it's not an off-the-shelf part, its highly customized to the point that even after getting detailed photos the tech-heads at gaf still can't agree on what's what, or what large portions of it even do.
