I thought this would be a fun thread to do. So what tips would the people of the chartz give in this scenario? I will update op with the suggestions.

Scenario:A zombie outbreak has occured all over the world. The disease is transmitted by a bite to any part of the body. Everything is infected from animals to people. 2/3 of the worlds population has been turned.1/10 of rodents are currently infected. The infection cannot be spread by infected rodents to humans or other species. Insects are immune to the infection

Zombie Types: Fast running and detects by sight. Reanimated Corpse.

Killing Method:Head must be destroyed.

Try to limit each post up to three ways(can post again with three more though as long as it is in a seperate post) and write numbers so it makes it easier.

1. Gather medical supples by raiding a pharmacy

2.Gather guns

3.Raid a supermarket for food that can last you.

4.Call all my friends on VGChartz and tell them to come to Spain. It is widely known nothing happens in Spain. Even Lovercraft knew this when writing the mythos, as the presence of Cthulhu or acolytes is almost zero in this place.

5.Isolate yourself from civilization (Island, prison, boat)

6.Grow crops or locate near food source such as fish

7. Group together with trustworthy people who are willing to contrubute

8.Kill the fat members and use them as bait to escape, we dont want no liabilities in our group and fat people are a liability in situations such as this.

9.Assuming you're at home, as soon as shit hits the fan fill up tub and all bottles with water (before water goes off), prepare bug out bag and create/gather some weapons (all melee for me, as in UK). Barricade your home, if you live in a house with multiple floors or an attic, go upstairs and either destroy the staircase or block it with furniture. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor so all I need to do is barricade my front door.

10. Wait out initial panic in your home for a few days.

11. Venture out in search for food, water, better weaponry, books on all sorts of aspects on survival (first aid, growing food etc.) but avoid all big stores, stick to homes and convenience shops, and stay local.

12.Take them to Greece.

13. Violating the laws of biology doesn't mean they can violate the laws of nature. Water still freezes, and since all living animals are composed primarily of water. Finding someplace that is perpetually cold is a guaranteed zombie free zone. Go climb up a mountain, or go far North or South given the hemisphere you happen to live in.

14. Procure potassium iodide, heavy metal shielding, and find a location that provides protection from fallout, and stay put till the crisis is over. Governments aren't going to have too many qualms about using nukes if a situation gets this out of hand. Survival of the species takes precedence over survival of the species.

15. Eschew firearms in favor of swords, machetes, axes, bludgeons, and other melee weapons. There are without doubt going to be more zombies then all the bullets you can carry. Hell a good blade lets you make more of the weapons you need.

16.Everyone must own, or must have played Wii Fit.

17.Don't forget the Cricket bat. Very important tool.

18.Raid a grocery store then move all the food and create a stronghold in Gander Mountain.

19.Move to some desert where there are not bugs or animals. Bring lots of uninfected water.

Anyway. You said animals so we're all fucked. Birds, Cats, Dogs, Rats... No escaping everything. No survivors.

10% of ~5 Billion rats is still 500 Million rats. That wont take too long to grow in number. 

10% of the ~200-400 Billion birds is still 20-40 Billion birds.

~1.2 Billion sheep in the world?

~400-500 Million dogs?

Humanity would be screwed no matter how you look at it if animals were infected.

Hmm, well if a zombie apoc really did happen and it infected animals. We wouldn't last very long xD.
