Hmm, well if a zombie apoc really did happen and it infected animals. We wouldn't last very long xD.
I want to give humanity a fighting chance though so I'll add, only 1/10 of rodents are currently infected. The infection cannot be spread by infected rodents to humans or other species. Insects are immune to the infection
