I think it's going to be a new IP.

I don't think they'll do another Metroid game again, they're done with that. New IP or a Star Fox reboot. No chance one of the cancelled games gets revived, they were cancelled for a reason. It won't be Donkey Kong either, the framework for such a game has been made, no need for a studio such as Retro to do the sequel when you can have some other do it just fine. F-Zero would be a waste, because it would be too simple of a type of game and low-profile.

Whatever it is, I hope it´s not Metroid.

It really is time for them to show their talent with a new IP.

I'd love to see another Starfox. I can't even remember there last new game since assault, assuming they even had a new one.

Metroid. It's so obvious it makes no sense.

Yeah, I thought about Raven Blade...but I had never seen that tech demo so I wasn't sure. It does kind of make sense considering all of the artists worked on 3rd person games (aside from the Gearbox guy) and the type of art listed. It would be very risky though since it is a new IP. My main thing is.....that gameply looks more suited to something Platinum would do. Now, if they used the partnership with Platinum to help them iron out the combat kinks that prevented release in the first place....this could easily be the best game ever.
