lol ! as if kinect 2 will sell.. if a family has kinect 1.. why would they want a kinect 2.. we are talking about the 'casuals' here who could care less about the specs..

Honestly I think it would be a mistake for MS to focus on Kinect. It's cool as an add-on for voice commands or certain things in certain games, and I guess having it in every box will make developers utilise it in better ways.

But it shouldn't be the main focus and MS shouldn't market it as the main selling point I think. Because I doubt people are going to be as excited for Kinect this time.

if you are only concerned about the e3=no need to worry.of course they will push kinect2 and social and windows8 like crazy,but not in the beginning as they need us useful idiots.

microsoft is not stupid.They know exactly that almost only core gamers are willing to pay the full price of a consol at release.Core gamers are very important for the basic success of any plattform , they won"t made them angry as they need them in the beginning,therefore you will see a basic focus on core games(50%) and the rest about social,kinect etc.
in the beginning it will be very much like the 360 start(good games),but as soon as they have a satisfying userbase and can drop the xbox3price they will turn massivly to the casual gamer as the casual gamer isn't criticizing,he don't care about graphics or AAA games.the best
the same scenario we have seen with the 360,only faster in time and more massive way-but two years after release there will be a massive turn=one shooter and one racing game a year,some exclusive cod dlc's and if the coregamer start to protest they may buy one or two exclusives.

well, they can also deliver when they show a lot of kinect 2, just not for your taste and the taste of many gaming forum guys then

i wouldn't have a prob with it, except for the flaws kinect 1 had i am not one of those gamers who don't touch kinect and the games for it because i can also have fun with that.

Its not a negative.

What will be a negative will be if they take a chunk of time on someone like Usher.

Everything is Better with Kinect.

I expect it to be the same situation as from Wii mote to PS move. The casuals don't really care about better specs, Kinect 1 at parties is still fine. A small core will be happy with the voice commands, just as a small core is happy using move for aiming.

But who knows, maybe with every box having one we might actually see something that actually really is better with Kinect apart from sports and dance games.

Don't be surprised to see more games shown at the Xbox reveal than were at the PS4 one (with almost all of them using a standard controller).
