E3 show has shown the PS4 will be priced $100 less than the XBox One, PS4 will be more powerful and deliver more exclusive games and most importantly the PS4 has no anti-consumer/anti-competition DRM policy. The games on the PS4 will be your games and not an extended rental upon condition of the company. As soon as the XBox One servers are shut down your games will become redundant and unplayable.

The PS4 online service will be as good or even better than XBox Live and it will be free of charge. I find it very hard to see how the XBox One will finish second, XBox One will struggle to sell more than 50 million console systems. Both Wii U and PS4 value their consumers and the games are your games/property and no DRM on Wii U and PS4. DRM on a closed platform like the XBox One a stripped down, low powered PC will be a nightmare for independent and small budget developers.

PS4 will be the best selling. By a margin.

PS4 - 90m
Xbox One - 75m
WiiU - 40m

TBH i see them being a close tie this gen.
also, anyone who thinks that ANY console will reach PS2 or even Wii levels is on crack, heck, I don't even think the 3DS will do that well

I can only predict Wii U in last place thats the only sure thing.

There's a good chance of beating both XB1 and Wii U, but I doubt it'll reach really high, it's definitely not a PS2, and it possibly won't even reach Wii-levels. To get PS2 levels, you'll need a ton of people wanting something equivalent to a cheap dvd player along with a console (which is one contributing factor to its major success), and 400$ isn't necessarily cheap for a "movie" player. You can get a blu-ray player for like 70$; though bluray hasn't even caught on as well as DVD back in the early 2000s. 100 million will be max, and I think I may be shooting a bit too high.

It's plausible that a 10 year console can sell 100 million, look at the PSOne sales, I believe the PS4's sales will be in the 95 - 105 million range, with alot of the Xbox 360 users switching over, and in a growing market, it's perfectly plausible. 

of course it is, I'm just saying that it seems unlikely to me.

and i don't really see the whole "growing market" thing, if anything, it's shrinking. and with the rise of dev costs, i can see a lot of studios closing/going bankrupt.  if we are already seeing that happening now (THQ, etc), i can only imagine what is going to happen next gen.

I meant consumer wise, this gen has over 240,000,000 consoles sold to date. Last gen had less than 200,000,000. The Wii sold 100,000,000 consoles over 7 years, and the Sony platform will be supported for 10 years, and after a terrible launch they still managed to sell on average 11M consoles a year, now with sales declining and after an inevitable pricecut the PS3 has potential to reach 90,000,000 - 100,000,000 console sales.

The PS4 will ultimately fair better than the PS3, simply because of the price advantage it has and all the problems it fixes with the PS3. If the platform is supported for 10 years I strongly believe when it's discontinued over 100,000,000 consoles will be sold.

I won't even comment on what said level of delusion resulted. It's cringe worthy at it's very best and "i don't want to live in this planet anymore-seriously" at the worst.
