That doesn't sound like an early buy for me. I'll wait for a bigger sale.

Is "The Wolf Among Us" already available for the Vita or should its entry be moved to "coming soon"?
tagging this awesome thread =)
you should add atelier rorona to the wishlist of localisations.
Nice thread, reminds me of the titles i still need to buy like muramasa rebirth, hotline miami and rayman. But with all those free games from ps+ i dont have the time to play them all :P

So I bought and finished Ys : Memories of Celceta in 18 hours. My thoughts? It's a good game, and a good RPG. The combat was fun and sometimes challenging (It must be hard as fuck on Nightmare though, maybe I'll try it in the future) The soundtrack is really good, the environments are pretty cool and what not. The story was kind of lacking, however..It was really generic and I did not really feel involved. There was no character development whatsoever, which is a bummer for me because I want character development especially in an RPG. I want to feel the progression and what not. (Maybe it's the way YS series are made?). Almost all the characters felt uninteresting, and the story was way too linear.
With that said, if I had to evaluate the game, I'd give it a 7/10.
Pros:
-Great Combat
-Great Soundtrack
-Some variety in combat (three types of weapons)
-Puzzles were interesting, although not particularly hard or challenging.
Cons:
-Story is linear and generic
-No character development
-Not particularly involved in the characters and their stories
I'd say Ys:Memories of Celceta is an alright game at best, with combat being its strongest point and story/progression its weakest.
P.S I'm dying to play an RPG like Persona 4 or Suikoden 1&2, it's been too long. I absolutely cannot wait for Persona 5.

I haven't beaten the game yet but Y's story is just fine for me, as I knew exactly what I would be getting before I went in. Its not a "End of the World" plot which I find refreshing. Its more so just another story to add to Adol's Journals of his pilgrimage. Makes it light and (mostly) happy venture. Mostly you will be concentrating on the combat like you said. Seeing as this is an Action RPG, too much story could have messed up the flow. P4G works on a handheld because combat/dungeon crawling and Story/Social Link is so distincly seperate, that you can guage which one to do at any particular moment. Ys is set up that you won't be trapped in long expositions, "Go Here" discriptions, then just find your way.
Who doesn't want more Persona like games tho? ;)
I give Ys a 9/10, and is my current most recommended title.
