Forums - Sony - Capcom: “We’ve Got no Plans for a PS Vita Monster Hunter at the Moment”

Aah, buissness as usual. As soon as it is clear people won't get a game, "The series wasn't this good anyways" (See Bayonetta, see "Who cares about 3rd party anyways"). Classic.

Business as usual indeed.  No one cared about Monster Hunter in the west until it became Nintendo exclusive.  With an exclusive western console release and overall exclusivity for next gen consoles and portables, Nintendo fans act like it's one of the best games ever and that the Playstation lost some amazing series.  Then they don't buy it.

most people are like "I ain't buying a vita until MH is released on it!, FUCK CRAPCOM/NINTENDO!!1" well , if you like MH so much then why not buy a 3DS instead? , I really don't know how people think sometimes, who cares about brand names, you're not buying a cult following or stocks of a company, you're buying games to enjoy them.

Because Capcom wouldn't release a Vita Monster Hunter with no online.  Different expectations from the userbase to be met.  The online Vita experience would also be better due to 3DS not having many of the features Vita does.

I own a Vita and 3DS, I'd only buy a Vita MH.

but almost All the 3DS games I own have online

(and Kid Icarus is awesome online)

Over a million Western Wii owners bought MH3.

Yep, that is the reason why Monster Hunter 4 won´t have online play....oh wait !

...and why MH3U 3DS has online!   Oh wait!

Oh please, you know damn well that NONE of the PSP games supported online play on their own, it was TRI (on the Wii) that had online play out of the bag.

In the case of Portable 3rd you needed a PS3 and the Ad-hoc app to go online, which is the same setup with the 3DS and Wii U.

pfft...

Oh God, I read the article....and the comment section is....something .
best quotes
-"Nintendo and Capcom deserve to be shamed for what they're (almost certainly) doing" (about the rumored exclusivity deal)
-". I think we will see MH 4 either be ported or MH franchise fizzle out with Nintendo. "
-"Otherwise, I'm boycotting their modern games until Monster Hunter (a series I don't even care for) sees a PlayStation release."

Lol... I might try going to the links in threads and see what gems I can dig up, from now on anyway.

As long as crapcom keeps ignoring Vita, I'm going to ignore crapcom. Personally, I don't really care about MH.

Lol, didn't have to look far after all.

Yeah last gen systems, we're in a new gen now with new expectations.

The supposed enhanced Tri port lacks a main feature of Tri, only lacking for the 3DS, the WiiU has it still.  If MH3U went to Vita it would have online.

Hahaha....I see, I won´t waste time arguing with you !

You can clearly see the bias from many people here. They can't stand the loss of one single exclusive and go create the weakest excuses for them. It's mind boggling.

A user in this forum once said: "You can put as many arguments as you want, but in the end, we are getting what we want, and you will not." - regarding Skyward Sword. That also applies here.

They people that will boycott the game were not going to buy it on 3DS in the first place. They wouldn't buy a 3DS game ever. The fans (a lot of them) will.

It WILL be successful, it WILL be awesome, 3DS owners WILL enjoy it. You can keep complaining as much as you want, but it the end, it changes nothing.

Yup. it goes both ways though and it's a shame only a few people care to admit so.

Only if online was included to begin with in the JP version. God Eater 2 on the Vita (also on PSP) doesn't have online.

If I'm not mistaken the actual tweet from Yusuke Tomizawa was “I am very sorry, but there is no online multiplayer support yet,” I'll just point out the word "yet".
