Yep, its all about the games with me. Nintendo doesn't need to battle them out with graphics to me, Nintendo doesn't play with competition they play with themselves (did that come out right?)

Same here, which is why I ultimately went to PC. Biggest library and cheapest games to be found anywhere. :P

I still play on console, but something...impressive will have to come along for me to actually spend more than a C-note for one.

I would have if Nintendo went back to their NES/SNES roots hardware and software wise. Those machines didn't try to do anything but provide great hardware and games.

Basically, imagine a PS4 only made by Nintendo. Amazing, state of the art hardware, standard controller, first party titles and killer third party support. If they decided to do THAT? I'd be on board faster than you could say Triforce.

Can only speak for myself, but for me its too expensive because its not that different from what ive already been playing for years now. Multimedia features are about the same etc. It seems you are really paying for the gamepad, which is nifty but its not cool enough for me to plunk down the money they are asking for. Havent seen 720, but PS3 is already showing stuff that is blowing away what we've seen on Wii U and PS360, that is gonna be a bigger hardware leap so it makes sense for that to be more expensive.

Going off that, the system has no games. Well thats not right, it has games good ones, but those are already on or coming to systems i own.

I like PC, but I'll invest in it later. PC gamings most impressive games will come from the console library. PC doesn't adhere to the rules of generations but without console budgets the drought starts to become apparent without companies like Blizzard of Valve. Even then PC exclusives outside of those two companies cannot contest in budget and price, but if I want a cheap game, hell yeah i'll play PC. 

My reason is: Other.

I still have too many Wii games I haven't played yet. Once I get through those, I am buying a 3DS and Wii U.

The power for me, each gen has to show real improvment over the last for me, my XBOX360 impressed me with Dead Rising and Fallout3, they could not exist on PS2, the WIIU does not impress me.

65 people, or just under a third of all who voted, say they own a Wii U, which was a bit of a surprise. I expected maybe a fifth, but I guess I wasn't giving the system enough credit! That was surprising enough, but I was even more surprised by the rest of the numbers.

72 people expressed interest in buying the system later on, , with a firm majority of them waiting for more games to arrive. Price, it seems, is much less of a factor.

And lastly, 63 people said they didn't intend to buy the system at all. Which means this comes shockingly close to a 3-way split between those who have it, those who want it, and those who don't want it.

Granted, the sample size wasn't exactly huge, but it all been very enlightening. Again, to all those who've voted, and to all those who have yet to vote, as well as those posting their reasons in more detail, thank you.

None of those reasons. I would share my opinion on why the WiiU is ***********, but I get banned for voicing my opinion. If you're not a fan of something, you have no voice on this forum. It's messed up. But I will say, the online interface is crappy across the board (biggest fault to me and its power 2nd) and lacking in comparison to the console of "past generation". I can't imagine when the PS4/XBOX8 come out.
