I would buy one if they did a modern take on Lylat Wars, seriously considering picking up a 3DS just for that even if it's a remake of what I already own on the Nintendo 64.

Doesnt yet have the games to justify the pricetag.

Because they are playing the same style as always with "mostly" the same IP's. But does franchises sell very well so I doubt they will change, so I will most likely not buy one in the near future.

For me is price, its not worth that much. i just saw a ps3 for $279 with 6 god of war games. and a xbox 360 for $99 up at best buy, yes i know there is a contract but even at full price its cheaper since it has a game or 2 with it depending on the type. to get a wiiu with the needed arcade controller, and game alone makes it close to if not over $400 after tax, not to mention an external hard drive would be recommended as well thats another $40-$100 depending on the size you want. its so not worth that to me and then to be left with no games and non really on the horizon that makes me "Oh i have to have that." ive had every nintendo system before it but this is the one i dont have to have.

I haven't bought a Wii U because there is no real reason to buy one, Not even if your a Nintendo fan. If you are, why would you? For New Super Mario U, Nintendo Land? Are those little casual tittles really worth it? Everything else you can get it for the less expensive, better established, wider library of PS360.

Anyone who has bought a Wii U so far is a:

1)Hardcore Nintendo fan.

2)A kid that dosen't know any better.

3) Someone who was attracted by the Wii lagacy.

And IMO if it wheren't for that Wii Legacy, the Wii U would be selling even less.

The better question for a post would be: "If You Have Bought a Wii U, Why?"

There are no games I want on the system right now, and after getting burned by the Wii and its lack of appealing games for me, Im waiting to see how Nintendos software is on the system when it has some more years behind it. Not to mention that there really isn't anything on the Wii that shows its ahead of the PS360 right now. And the lack of 3rd party support is disturbing and the fact Nintendo have no idea what the fuck their doing with the console.

Yeah I'd rather just save my money and buy a PS4...Killzone looks much more interesting then anything the Wii U is offering at this point..

i bought mine at launch and somewhat regret it. i mean i love the thing but here in Aus there are some better bundles now. also i barely touch the thing, waiting for q3+4s major titles to hit. however it means i dont have to worry about finding spare cash when all these awesome games start to drop later in the year.
i did have a few friends over on a facebook group too which were all getting it and we were going to play MonHun together but i got kicked out for being a Sony fan so my WiiU is for solo gameplay only now

I don't like Getting flooded with Mario games, I don't wanna own a less powerful console in Comparison to PS4 & 720, like consoles that can do it all not one that is missing 2006 Features, I don't like owning more then one console I have a PSVita and a PS3 once PS4 come out I won't game on my PS3 anymore i would put it away, I don't have a External HDD and 8-32gb is laughable in a console, and the biggest part to me is I don't wanna be apart of a group of people like Nintendo fans its really like they are in a Religion and blinded to reality. Nintendo is good just I feel they shouldn't make consoles anymore don't seem as good as they once was but heel the handheld market. Also as of right now none of the games coming out for both 3DS or Wii U are anything I would touch at all Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, Yoshi Yarn, Bayoneted 2, Pokémon, Project cars, Luigi mansion, Legos etc no... Just no...

Things like this is what Nintendo fanboys do... Sad.
