I've only beat 114 (PS360Wii) and 15 or so counting small digital titles (PSN/XBLA/WiiWare). I've certainly bought more than enough to be considered so though.

I think my most hardcore gaming stint was during 2004-2006 when I played World of Warcraft (when it first came out). That was when I was still finishing my bachelor's degree, so I had a lot of time between exams. I initially got into it because I wanted to save money from going out (going out drinking with friends every weekend got to be pretty expensive), but it soon evolved to me flaking out on my friends, which I regretted, so I eventually stopped playing the game.

Ever since I've graduated, I don't play games no where nearly as much (perhaps a few hours a week). I do, however, play a wider variety of games nowadays. To answer the question, I guess I used to be a hardcore gamer, but not anymore.

I'm a console gamer, and that means I play most genres made popular on consoles, so I'm not big on FPS or RTS, or puzzles, but pretty much everything there is. I don't play much of the genres made popular in Arcades : Fighting, light-gun, dance, and waggle and anything to do with "motion" in general.

Depends on who you ask. I prefer not to use labels like those at all.

I think I've earned my stripes, though. Rockin a full Duramboros set right now.

But seriously I always have consider myself a hybrid casual. I love playing Marios, CoDs, Rock Bands, Halos, Maddens and Final Fantasies games. Those games are by most consider casual games. Then I play some other games that most casual gamers wouldn't play. I love all games in general.

Hm...

My only home console ever is a Wii.
My top 3 games in terms of time played on the Wii are Mario Kart, Wii Sports and NSMB. Something like a thousand hours.
