Vita sales are up 1k in comparison with the last week.

Vita for the most part even. I figured the week before Golden week would see a slight dip or no drop hardware wise with the exception of the 3DS of course. Really good opening for Tomodachi, I just wish the 3DS boost was larger. Lets hope the 3DS stays strong through Golden week. Vita seems to be approaching a baseline. I would say the Vita likely has a baseline of 11k to 13k. We will have to see how it behaves after the holiday though. Luigi Mansion and Animal Crossing are both dropping. I am kind of sad, I was hoping Animal Crossing legs would last forever. Nice Monster Hunter boost. Also Run for the Money came out of nowhere; was there a new episode last week?
95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

| Conegamer said: Hmm, I didn't realise the double pack was tracked by Media Create. And I'm not going to say if it's fair or not. The game as a whole will easily pass that mark, but my only concern is the version which is still in the charts. I'm not "hating" on the game or anything. I'm looking forward to picking it up, and I wish it all the success. So the single game by itself will not pass 250k, not including the double pack or other re-releases, regardless if it's "fair" or not. Because aside from the data you provided for the double pack (which I concede I did not realise was avaliable), we don't know how these other versions have sold. |
We will know the total sales of the double pack as soon as MC realeases their top 500.
Anyway, nobody said that you are hating the game.
I am just stating facts because people might think that SS only sold 167K.

Ok now this is just sad.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Omg... people... As easy as this, there was Vita shortage, then supplies came and Vita did not increase that much. I'm pretty sure that means people are not very interested in the system...

Yep, that post is one of the worst spins I've ever read here.
I apologize in advance for my bad english.
We don't know when was the re-stoking. Claiming that PSV got their base line at 15k is just wrong, next week is Golden week, and that affects sales, mid May will be a better teller, besides by that time the effect of the price cut will be settled.
Sigh, shouldn't we all be older and wiser? This partisan attacks will never end?

Media Create ;o Italic: How do you know? |
Oh, fair enough then. I was looking at the Famitsu numbers.
And I don't know. But I don't think there's enough of a stock shortage that sales will increase around 50% from here.
