If a genie appears at Nintendo's HQ, and tells them that WiiU sales will soar as long as they decide to accept this offer... they still would decline it.

Miiverse says different. Nintendo appears to be taking note of opinions in various communities, that's why we're getting Earthbound in the first place and why after Balloon Fight all of the following VC titles have been 60Hz.

That's partly what makes Miiverse so great. A very good medium for the common man to communicate with the Nintendo big wigs.

nintendo actually did but had to cancel it cause it was to expensive to mass produce and also the fact the super nintendo was about to come out would have hurt sales

Also Mother 1 is supposed to be insanely difficult closer to the final dungeons.

For the 60Hz thing, NoA and NoE do actually listen. They're usually powerless though.

Earthbound they took 10+ years to "hear".

Yeah I hope Miiverse gets through to them.
