The WiiU is currently at a lul in sales for the past 3 months. Until more games are released for it, the system will continue its trend, because well games sell hardware.

Nintendo is gearing up for the launch of their competitors' upcoming home consoles, and of course all the marketing and stocking that entails. Bringing customers to the video game consoles area of stores like Toys'R'us, Walmart, or dedicated game stores, this could lead to free advertisement for the WiiU, right in time for its "second" launch.

Thanks Sony, thanks Microsoft! =)

"Mommy, I really want the new Xbox with the Halo and Gears of War game!"

"They're out of stock, honey. Here, let's get this shiny Wii U with Mario and Zelda!"

And they lived happily ever after.

ps420 doesn't work as name for both consoles.

But think about it, the hype all that advertising brings to console gaming in general, it's bound to trickle over for Nintendo, those penny-pinchers.

This isn't rocket science either.

Well, that's better advertising than Nintendo itself has done for WiiU so far...
