Didn't get any Virtual Console games on Wii.

I still have all the consoles I ever bought/gotten, so most of the games that are worth it, I own real copies of.

Anyway, naturally I will own WiiU Virtual Console games as I'm not leaving the 30 cents promotion on the table, plus I never played Earthbound since that wasn't released in the EU, so maybe I'll get that.

They make off-TV-play. Once this is in their emulator-code, it should work for all games. It is not like they are remaking the game to fit on the pad, they only add these features to the emulator.

They also need to enter customizable controls, proper save states and a Miiverse community so its a little more complicated than that plus they got to double check for bugs

Hopefully they'll build up titles much faster than the Wii service. And NoE should give option to download the PAL or NTSC version.

Only buying the trial offers so far until other systems are supported. Haven't even done the Wii-transfer yet as I am waiting for further information on VC/WW transfer options. If the MegaDrive is supported, guess I'll do the transfer and upgrade some titles.

I it will happen quicker. There arleady is 3x the number at the launch of the service than Wii had at its VC launch.

It appears NOE is looking at it per individual game and deciding what is overall better. They appear to be fixing the border no matter what, but its just if hte game was already optimized correctly in the 50Hz version because that one will also provide the various language options.

Why would not not transer data to Wii U? Keeping your Wii until it breaks and you can't transfer? (I just sold my Wii so I could buy more games)

True, but are they really going to sell future trial versions for full price at launch? xD

I didn't notice when I bought Kirby, but it does state that it's the optimized PAL version.

The Wii is back in Spain being used by the family. Didn't do the transfer during the holidays because I didn't know if VC was coming or not. And still have 1000 points in that console to spend. Next time, and hopefully by then I can play Streets of Rage 2 on the Pad !

The strangest thing happened to me, Just changed my club nintendo points for super metroid. It strictly says for use in the Wii Shop Channel. But my inner curiosity said what if I put the code in the WiiU eshop??. Did it and it appeared the message that the code for this content is not available at the moment. My question is: will this function once super metroid is out in the eshop???

damn missed the 30cents deal on f-zero, because I havent owned a wiiu at that time ...
but at least i got punch out and now kirby :)

but i have f-zero for the wii so i will just update it from there if i can get my files moved to my wiiu :(

if i can get it moved i will update most likely every game i own ... idk how many i own but it was like 3 full pages on the wii
