seems a bit pre-mature but eh, i never used them and i doubt anyone else did either.

Does the Wii U have anything similar? If not, it probably means they were largely unusued.

Too soon. What about all of the people who just bought a Wii within the last 6 months? They should've given it at least another year or two.

Reported. Troll.

No, he is right. Especially the people who bought a Wii Mini should have been given a chance to check out these channels.

Silly Rol. Anyone who buys a Wii of any model now is too much of a casual to even know that these things have access to the mythical "internet."

They have to leave shop channel open.

why?

-To sell games; all Wiiware & VC is also compatable with the Wii U in Wii mode.

-It is home to important software fixes, like the Skyward Sword save file fixer.

-It is the only way to get the Netflix, Youtube, Hulu+ or Amazon Instant video streaming apps.

that still doesnt answer my question they dont have to leave it open, they can shut it down if they want. Does the Wii U not have the entire WiiWare and VC library on its network? And if they dont how does one transfer their games from Wii to Wii U? is it on a flash drive, what about data that is not transferable to that? Im asking cause i really dont know.

Is the SS update really on the store? I have the game but i never reached the part where it became an issue. Fair enough on the apps, but wouldnt most people have that stuff by now? Wouldnt they just use it on another device?

WiiU does not have access directly to the tons of digital content originally on Wii. That still makes them money and they give Wii VC games away every month via Nintendo Club.

That shop won't close for a long while.

I hope they keep netfix open, I still use that shit.

Did you realize that he mentioned Wii Mini which has no internet connection ability?

I believe you mean Wii U does have access to Wii Shop through the Wii Shop channel.

No. I meant what I said. WiiU does not have acces to Wii Shop content directly. You have to go through Wii mode to get to it. Thus, they won't be shutting off Wii's Shop any time soon.

Noooo! Not the forecast channel!

"Any model." :P

Many of these channels should have been closed a long time ago. Lol
