I hate how games can become worthless after a few years. I didn't really pay attention to the Club Nintendo pamphlet during the GCN/GBA generation, but I have much much more GBA/GCN games then DS/Wii, and it sucks.

I still managed to get what I wanted, but I had to Buy Fire Emblem Awakening, without owning a 3DS to do it LOL!

Old Nintendo published games shouldn't be worthless. They should be at least worth 5 coins for registry, and 5 coins for the post play survey. It's not like the reasons why we bought Pikmin 1 & 2 aren't relavent towards Pikmin 3's development, and so on.

I'm not sure about worthless, I am at 900 coins right now with registered games, I haven't added any consoles yet, as I can't be assed to find the packaging.

The systems have the number on the actual system (usually on the underside or the back - at least that is how I registered mine), you dont need the package to find it lol

thats the serial code, you have to have the PIN code as well that is buried with the manual , I tried registering with only the serial code , and they said  something like successfully registered, Warranty Extended, in order to earn coins enter the PIN code here "------"

yeah but what kind of answer is "why did you buy this game?" .... well... to enjoy it perhaps?  or maybe summon a darklord, one of them.

I got that email as well. I ordered a Princess & Mario notebook.

Try to register a Gamecube or GBA game. They are worthless now, and have been for quite some time. The list of eligible Wii games is also a lot smaller now, and I bet you in 2-3 years, most Wii games will return zero coins.

I didn't know you can register those, I have so many of them.

Oh you dont keep the manuals? lol

When you said package, I thought you meant the box itself lol

I keep everything, but they're in the basement, I keep the boxes of things until they run out of warranty or when I want to sell them, or if they're not worth it, I do care about space though, I hate having boxes everywhere.

I can't be bothered to do anymore sadly. I did it for Square's members program for two years, but it's just a hassle.

But you get free games every month. Seems more than worth it to me.

You know, i stopped logging my coins a long time ago.

I've got some shit to do this weekend...
