Nope. That game's a gen, really. Solid Snake is much badass there than in the PS version; and considering how badass he was in the PS version despite being mere polygons, that's such a statement.

That's a good price. Not too long ago you were not able to get this game for under 90€ in Germany, thank god the price has fallen since then....

I think that's roughly what I paid for my copy.

The game's crap, especially the soundtrack, its just sound notes repeated (tick tick tick tock) instead of the memorable MGS music

some of the stuff is ridiculous too like snake riding on a rocket.

its not atmospheric like the original too, feels like a hollywood blockbuster, like uncharted and such.

really? I never played the psx version..so would this be a problem for someone like myself?

I think it is a bit too much the game is  9 years old, I bought it back in 2006 used for that same price

Unless ofcourse, you hate the kind of thing he describes. They tried to do a lot of "Matrix-y"action cutscenes that just seem out of place for someone who played it originally. They redid some of the voices like mei ling (won't bother you).

But I don't think someone who didn't play the original would noticed or bothered. 

It's a great game, so don't worry about the price. I support your purchase. In some ways I still prefer the original on the PS1, especially since Snake is more of a 'bad ass' in the cutscenes, but it is hard to go back there at this point. MGS TS on the GC still holds up well even now - unlike the PS1 game.
