I wouldn't call franchises like that irrelavanet because
1. They sell well..check the sales numbers
2. WiiU could use all the 3rd party support it could at the moment
And discussing things like these is not a bad thing..if we didn't talk about everything because things 'can' change we won't have forums anymore lol but the drama here is mainly because "I" posted this news here. If this was a thread by a nintendo fans people would be less hostile and would actually talk about the topic at hand

1. Again, you can't measure a success with only one game released, specially with the transaction they went through...
2. Well, it's only been out 5 months and it already has a good library for the second part of the year... With Pikmin and Wonderful 101 releasing, most likely, this quarter.

1. They have a huge chance of producing great sequels, after all they are working with Techland - a very talented studio, that has been making great games for over 15 years now. They dveloped games like Crime Cities, Chrome, Call of Juarez, Dead Island and Nail'd, so their track record is good enough to assume that their next games will be good as well.
2. Wii U has a good library? That's a good one :) Even the future library is below average. To tell the truth - out of all the consoles on the market, it may only compete with DS and PSP. That's just how good it is. It may change in 2014, but 2013 is worse than the biggest haters ever imagined.

I have to disagree, cause MUGEN is right here. They never said anything about the size of Wii U sales, but about what the Wii U audience is like. It's really obvious they are going for the PS360/PS4-X720 gamer and aren't interested in the Wii/Wii U gamer. You are just fooling yourself when saying that should the HW sales rise this year, they will change their minds. What can cause this shift in sales? Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, SSB, Pikmin - these games won't appeal to the PS360 gamer that DS is after. The only thing that can change the Wii U's situation is a sudden emergence of a core market interested in games like CoD, AC, Dead Island, Metro, Saints Row, etc., but we all know that this is as probable as the Wii U being the most powerful next gen (if you even put it there) console on the market.
They aren't talking about the volume of gamers, but about the "pedigree", if you will, of gamers on Wii U, with their buying habbits and preferences. They are not interested in the current Wii U audience, no matter the size. It's not about the console, but about the type of gamer.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
