So 3 out of their 3 biggest franchises are coming to current gen and none out of them are coming for the next gen is magically only bad for the WiiU? I see u are such a smart guy... Haha!

PD. The fact that Dead Island and Metro were good games, doesn't mean that next installments are gonna be good, they have still much to prove (somebody said Dead Space?)

well you sure showed everyone how smart you are since they say they will make games for ps4/720....not for wiiU. Really is hilarious. Least you could do if you are going to call other people not smart is being smart yourself or having some reading comprehension

And your comment about lot to prove bit makes no sense..that applies to everyone..everyone makes bad games from time to time, even some of the best devs/publishers around

How is it misleading exactly? I actually changed the title from wiiu AND next gen consoles since I don't think it's fair to not call wiiu next gen by a media outlet. They are basically saying no games from them now OR in the forseeable future. With PS4/720 not on day one but eventually..aka they will but not at the start

and I'm not saying the dev is slamming the wiiu..they are honest and to the point. I like and appreciate that..no pr nonsense like it did not meet our visionary bla bla bla etc. I do think there's an undertone to the way the question was presented to them ...and I'm speaking 'against' it. I'm not going after ninty..I'm taking it's side

Ok, so you mention WiiU twice, and PS4 and 720 once between the two of them.

 

Why did you choose to mention the WiiU 4 times as much as each of the other two. Why was the heading not

Cuz they say they WILL make games for PS4/720? -_- What are you even going on about..this is no conspiracy..I am NOT out to get nintendo lol hell if I wanted to I would have done so in the past months...seen many threads me flaming or trolling the wiiU?

Now, I do agree that logically:

 

'If not A then not B' is not quite the same as 'iff A then B', but I think it is pretty safe to assume that what he is really saying in the first case is actually 'iff not A then not B', which is equivalent to 'iff A then B'

The issue they are talking about is the nature of the audience as you point out. It also shows that the audience won't change in their opinion in the foreseeable future. Can it change and prove them wrong? Sure..will they consider then? They should and most likely will. But that's not the reality at the moment and really is no reason to think it will change any time soon either. 

and you are wrong..they are not saying anything like we will make games for ps4/720 'when' the audience is there...they already believe it will have it. You said in another thread that they say they aren't making any games for those systems when they said no such thing. They just won't release any for the launch (which is really around 6 months from now). They pretty much said they will be there for the systems...if you want to assume anything on that quote it should be that they already have plans for games on those systems, not the opposite

Funny that you mention that, it's just like EA saying there was gonna be full support for the WiiU.. We all know how that turned out.

Just in case you don't get what I'm trying to say, Deep Silver saying today that there will not be support for the WiiU can change tomorrow, just like EA...

 

Oh, and what I said was that one game doesn't make a franchise good, specially cause those Franchises only have one game released...

I definitely agree with you that things change..and that's a good thing too. The current situation can change around and I do admire Nintendo and their capabilities once they set their mind to do something they can get it done. So I'm hopeful they will. Contrary to popular belief I do want to see wiiu do well. Competition is good for everyone..

I couldn't quite work out what you were saying, I think you're agreeing with me and have worked out what the company is saying, that a) They will not release on any console until it reaches sufficient install base, and that b) at this point in time, they believe that the PS4720 will reach that point before the WiiU does. Now of course, when Nintendo start putting games out for the WiiU, they will revise that prediction.

 

As for launch being 6 months from now, that is some great rounding. PS4 will launch in late November in Japan, just like pretty much every console ever. That is 7.5 months away. It will release in the USA any time from 7.5 months to 8 months from now, Europe 8-11 months from now. 720 may release Nov 2013 in the USA, it may not. Regardless, do not expect this company to be making games to release on the 2nd day of launch - they will wait

If Deep Silver's audience isn't on or coming to Wii U, Nintendo's not doing their job. They should make some games that appeal to the dildo-wielding crowd to draw that audience in. Then we can hear about how Deep Silver won't make games for Wii U because they don't want to directly compete with first-party Nintendo games for an audience that only buys Nintendo games.
