I am more relieved that everyone agrees that it was right to cancel this than I am that it was canceled in the first place.

It would have hurt my soul to see reactions along the lines of "aw yeah dark and gritty and more realistic just like original Mega Man, just the way it should be, why would they cancel this"

I think they were on the right track. This has too much of DMC's ideology problems though. There's nothing wrong with the way Megaman X looked and that way they made him in this game isn't "cool". But it looks like with more time and editing, the game could have been solid. Still want Megaman Legends 3 though.
