I would have bought this.

with a bit more work this could have been something fun

people thought Prime was going to be crap but it is one of the best games out there

didn't these guys quit Nintendo so they could work on something that wasn't like Metroid?

that would have been just another scifi shooter with a Mega Man name slapped on it. Not saying it would have sucked. But could it have killed them to just keep the original look? That would have stood out in the whole, gritty scifi/military theme that FPSs have been in for a while. Thank god we got Bioshock (and Dishonered to a lesser extent)

Everything megaman related gets canned..

This could've been good if they pulled it off. I actually liked Megaman Command Mission(when they went the rpg route). I hope we see a new megaman X that's like puppeteer 1 day

Why do you want a Mega Man like puppeteer? How about a Mega Man game like Mega Man. Mega Man game like something else is the reason OP exist.

because Puppeteer is the the platformer that looks to be taking that side of the genre forward for the most part. 

I like Puppeteer and will be most likely be picking it up but im curious at what its doing to push the platformer genre forward. Please do explain.

Not the platformer genre but i mean just games like megaman x. Idk just look at puppeteer.. It looks like what a new megaman x should look like

Good:
Knowing the pedigree of the talent behind the game, it would probably be a fun FPS.

Bad:
Maybe too much like Metroid Prime.
Probably would be better off as new IP.
