Let me get this straight, you bought a Wii, didn't live up to your expecatations, but you recently bought a PS3 and are very impressed by it......so the next thing you plan on buying is a Wii U?

Did you not learn anything from your past experiences? Have you not seen how poorly the Wii U is being supported, even by Nintendo themselves?

Actually, if you check out Wikipedia list of Wii U & PS4 games, well the Wii U has much more better 3rd Party western game support, but the 3DS has the best 3rd Party Japanese support.

I myself didn't buy a Wii & PS3, because the games shown for both were to weak of a library per system for my taste. I ended up only getting a DS. I was going to get a PSP but the listed game library was almost noing for me, so I ended up not getting it for tis 2 games (Final Fantasy Crisis Core & Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep).

The Wii & PS3 has recently got a respectful game library per system for me, but now there's the Wii U & PS4 to play the old gen games and e current gen games.

I choose the 3DS by itself for Handhelds because of the Wikipedia List of games for 3DS & PlayStation Vita. I haven't seen a single game on the PS Vita list of games on Wikipedia to buy it.

It best to compare the List of games in each system that is shown on Wikipedia before buying a single system. For instance, the 3DS is getting a New original Persona game: "Persona (working title)" as well as Batman exclusive and a 3rd Resident Evil game and Project X Zone & Bravely Default Flying Fairy also coming to the west. As well as Lego City Undercover Prequel & a lot of other awesome titles.

You do realize the PS4 isn't even released yet right? The launch-line isn't even announced yet. The console will easily have much better western support than the Wii U. This isn't up to discussion, its just common sense.

That's fair. Let's wait til E3 2K13 or E3 2K14 to judge PS4 Library in comparison to the Wii U Library. I think E3 2014, so the PS4 can be out long enough to the 1 year headstart Wii U.

My top 5 consoles

1.N64

2. SNES

3. WII

4. NES

5. 3DS

Go ahead and do that. We already know Wii U isn't getting UE4 games so that right there is a huge blow.(although not surprising)
No Frosbite 3 either, and probably no CryEngine 3. How many more game engines do I need to list that don't support Wii U?

Genesis

PS

PS2

Xbox 360/PS3 Tie

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Haha I can see how u think that is strange but theres a few reasons for this. Wii didnt live up to my expectations but I kinda expected too much out of it, gamecube is my favorite console of all time and I assumed it would outdo it. I dont regret buying a wii, I had a ton of fun playing it and mario, zelda, metroid, smash made it worth thr purchase but it didnt have star fox, fzero, pikmin and others, which I honestly believe wii u will be better than wii. Also I just got a ps3 a few months ago so  I figure I have a solid few years of gaming left on it before I need to upgrade to ps4 which will be cheaper and have a big library by then.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Main systems in chronological order. For example, the PS3 was my main system for a while, but it was bookended by the 360 before and after.

Atari VCS
Intellivision
Commodore 64
Commodore Amiga
Sega MegaDrive
Super Famicom
Sega MegaDrive
Panasonic 3DO
Sony Playstation
Nintendo 64
Sony Playstation
Sega Dreamcast
Microsoft Xbox
Microsoft Xbox 360
Sony Playstation 3
Microsoft Xbox 360

These are just the main systems. I think I have owned 60-70 systems in total over the years!

2nd generation: Atari 2600

3rd generation: NES

4th generation: Sega Genesis, but I owned a Super Nintendo.  I liked them both

5th generation: I didn't buy a console, but I played a lot of Nintendo 64at University later in this generation

6th generation: I skipped this one as I was in university

7th generation: PS3

Play PS2 games on your PS3, and download GameCube games on the Wii U.

That would require me to purchase a Wii U and to have a desire to play GameCube games.  Besides, I have the Wii.

Then play GameCube games on your Wii, LOL.
