Why they need a general statement when 360 already don't need online to play games?if they do it,it must about 720,people in gaming fourm won't suddenly think "oh just a normal statement".

Again, you honestly think people are that stupid to think MS won't be making any future consoles? Wtf is this logic. They don't have to mention ANYTHING ABOUT THE 720. Just say they will continue to be consumer friendly and value all customers going forward. See, that kind of statement/comment will NOT make any mention of a specific console. Just that they will continue the same path they have as before. Not sure why this is so hard for you to understand

My argument is that they SHOULD take some steps to tone things down a bit. It is smoke but it mentions nothing about whether an internet connection is required or not. Like I said before, the only thing Gamestops comment could possibly mean is that the next Xbox will play used games. I don't expect it to be like this gen though, there will most likely be a sytem-wide online-pass type of thing for all games.
