If you are talking about MH3U, they have a save transfer utility from the eShop on 3DS that's already in the Wii U game where you can transfer saves and extra contents to each other, which I have on my 3DS ATM(my character save) after transfering from my Wii U last night. They also have an app on Wii U that lets 3DS and Wii U play together online which works somewhat like the adhoc app on PS3 for PSP games(using hard line for internet and wireless for 3DS with Wii U as the host.) You can also play on Wii U and 3 other 3DS if you want.

I'd love that too. I was wanting one for the PS3 but all we got was a port of the PSP version and no western release for either.....fuck.
To this day I haven't played through a Monster Hunter game. It's a shame Capcom kept this in Japan as I could see a Monster Hunting game be very popular with kids here in America.



unfortunately for us (people who want a new game ground up from home consoles) will probably never get one. Capcom just sees it for handhelds, like pokemon. Is it a possibility? sure it is, it would go nicely if it were for wii u(gamepad= great controls) and ps4+vita combo(remote play). Imagine that

Capcom only sees MH on handhelds, because MH is practically only successful in Japan and Japan loves handhelds.

oops I was mistaken, it's for people that don't have a Wii U copy but want to play online, I don't think you can do online with 2 people just yet. The packet relay tool is pretty much the PS3 Adhoc mode app for PSP but requires a Wii U user to host the game.

A demo isn't the best representation of MH. Especially since you can't play online.

Also if MH3U HD does well we should see MH4U HD most likely.

You start up the game on WiiU and an downloadable app on 3DS (could have been in the game too, but the port to WiiU came later) and they connect wireless and transfer the save.
